AD Designs is a small bespoke design and manufacturing business based in rural Devon. We are very passionate about unique, hand crafted design and quality of finish. The workshop is based on the family farm where we have been fortunate enough to have the freedom to develop exciting processes and techniques, which can be applied to bespoke projects of all kinds. Many of our jobs require a strong element of problem solving and engineering, working with both private and commercial clients. Which is why we’ve spent a lot of time perfecting bespoke methods of fine finishing, including chemically applied patination, forged finishes, polishing and more.

With an experienced background in 3D CAD software as well as hand skills learnt by working with experts in the trade; we can offer a full design service from concept drawings through to bespoke manufacture and fitting. We have links to professionals in specialist disciplines giving us the ability to work on more complex, larger scale projects. This allows you, as a client, access to a wealth of knowledge which will help put you at ease when discussing potentially tricky bespoke projects.

To date we have worked with many materials including, but not limited to; steel, copper, brass, bronze, zinc, stainless steel, silver, pewter, joinery, glass, plastics, ceramics and stone.
